Hey my baby boy. I know, it's been awhile since I wrote. I'm sorry. You have had an eventful month as usual. Halloween was great! You were probably the only kid with 3 costumes. You were a dinosaur for the Halloween party at the library, Lightning McQueen for Halloween at Holy's and Nemo for trick or treating. You were so cute. You had candy for dinner basically. I didn't care, it's just one night. My wild little boy.

Your newest milestone......using the potty!!! You just decided to go. Smart lil guy. You always have to put toilet paper in the "big potty" and flush, even though you use the "little potty". You know what to do. I can't believe you're this big already.

We put up our Christmas tree last night. AKA: Present tree. You gave out on me about half way through. You were tired. I can't wait till Christmas! You're gonna LOVE your big present. I think I'm more excited than you will be.

Hey Baby O!

Well, you had your first stomach bug this week, but you were over it in a day. Bless your heart, you are a tough little guy. You have also started counting to 5! Smart little boy. You are talking more and more. Our little mocking bird. You talk about the moon and sun a lot. You love to look at the moon!
We watched a show with Tinker Bell last night so you thought you should "fly" too! You stood on the bak of the couch and would fall for me to catch you. Your new favorite thing is to sit on my shoulders. You might be a scientist when you get older or in the circus because you are not afraid of heights! I just know I have a smart, active little boy who is growing too fast. I am very proud to be your mommy!

Well my baby O, it's official. You are now 2 years old. Where has my baby gone? It's amazing how big you are and the things you have learned in just two short years. You have developed your OWN personality. It's so funny to watch you do things on your own. You are definately a DAREDEVIL! You are very independent and want to do things and figure things out on your own, but on the other hand, you don't want to be alone. As long as someone is with you, you can rule the world. You are 33 inches and 29 pounds. Your two favorite things are Rarr Rarrs and Suckers! Although in the past few weeks you have found a new love, Buzz Lightyear! Dad got you one for your birthday and he is your new buddy. Rex has been kicked out of the bed to make room for Buzz.
We had a great party at Dinosaur World. Everyone had a great time and you came home with A LOT of presents! My baby boy is very blessed. We were up until midnight playing with all your new toys and reading new books.
Mommy loves you more than anybody in the world. And you say, in the world! I can't believe you are two already. I try each day to remember little things you do because you are growing so fast. I am very proud of you Owie.

Well, party planning is in full swing! I CANNONT believe you will be two in a month! People say time flies and kids grow up so fast, it's true! We are having a party at Dinosaur World, of course. Where else would my little Rarr Rarr want a birthday party? I can't wait.

We were saying our blessing at dinner last night and after I said Amen, you still had your little hand up to pray and said, "and mom, and dad, and nana and rarr rarrs." Thank you lord for dinos and sweet little boy! What did I ever do without you? I didnt smile near as much as I do now. You're silly little faces and little things you do for attention just to be funny. Like putting your foot on the table. You know you shouldn't but you think it's so funny!

Hey Baby!
Happy 4th of July!
We have had a busy few weeks. We went to the Louisville Zoo. We go to see the dinosaur exhibit, which scared you to death. You love dinos, but I think you thought they were going to get you. We stayed at the splash park for a few hours. You loved that!! You even went down the little water slides all by yourself! Brave little boy! We bought a little pool on Sunday. My water bug. You say, "I swim, I swim!" You even ask to go outside to the pool.
Fourth of July was yesterday and of course we hung out in the pool. Granny came over to see you. Then we went to Uncle Chris's for his grandpa's 92 birthday. You have a balal there, running around outside. After that we went to see Nana and Papa. Laura Jo and John were in and John is your buddy! You wondered through the house yelling, "John, John!".
 You're getting so big, yet you were playing in your bed with your Mickey Mouse and seemed like a little baby. My sweet little guy. I love you so much.
Yesterday you told me everytime you peed so I would change you. Potty Training is coming soon!! WUHU....no more diapers! I don't want you to grow up but I will be glad to get rid of diapers.
You're at home having guys day with dad today. I'm sure you'll eat junk and hang out in the pool all day.

Hey my lil Wild Man!
You have had a BIG week! I redecorated your room, you now have a "big boy" room. Blue with Dinos everywhere and a new twin bed. You look so little in it though. On Monday you went to the movies for the first time. Miss Holly took you and your lil buddieS to see Journey 2. You carried your own booster seat in and watched the whole movie! Such a big boy. Made me cry. Then on Tuesday you guys played outside on the Slip and Slide! Holly said you loved it and you were in charge of the water hose, of course. I hate that I miss you having so much fun, but am so glad you have such a great sitter and little friends to experience new things with.
We went to a cookout at Nana and Papas last night and you played football with William, Robert and John. Then you wanted to stand in a tree! Dad held you up there and you TOOK OFF! You climbed half way up the tree!! I have never saw a baby as adventurous as you! 20 MONTHS OLD.You have no fear honey, which scares me to death! I am so proud of you though. You are a little problem solver and very determined.

Oh my lil Wild Man! Your new favorite movie.......Jurrasic Park! Yes, you're too young for it, but you have wanted to watch it every night this week! You bring me the remote and say, "Rarr Rarrs Mama, Rarr Rarrs." Too funny. How can I turn down that sweet little face. I know, I have spoiled you rotten. I can't help, you're the only baby I've got. Whatelse would I be doing while dad is on night shift besides watching Jurassic Park. I'd be bored i guess.

Hi My Sweet Pea!

We had a three day weekend for Memorial Day! We played outside in your pool, played with the water hose, of course. Your new word this week is LOOK! LOOK! Everything is new to you. I have to stop and slow down to let you look at things you notice. I have to remember that you have never seen a lightbug or an ant  crawling on the driveway. It's so fun letting you explore. Dad walked aroung the yard with you showing you things. He says you played with a snake! I don't want you to be as afraid of them as I am, but I don't like you playing with them either! Funny, you were not afraid of the garden snake, but DID NOT like the rolly polly. We caught light bugs at night and you loved them!
Last night we popped pop corn and you thought it was so funny hearing it pop!
Oh the little things............I just hope I always slow down for you to learn something new everyday. You're the only baby I've got.

Hey my honey honey!
Been sort of a rough week. You were sick with HFM. Poor lil guy. You started running a fever on Mother's Day. That's being a mom, taking care of her sick baby. I stayed home with you a few days a I got spoiled as much as you!
On Saturday we played ALL day! I had lots of housework to do, but decided I'd be lazy and hang out with my O. We went for a walk, went to the park and made a pallet int he floor for dinner and a movie that noght. What did I do before you were here? I'm not sure, but it wasn't as fun as cuddling with you watching Monsters Inc.
On Sunday, we had to clean house. You are a big helper! I gave you a sponge and you washed cabinets, swept the floor, mopped and later inthe afternoon we played outside with the waterhose and washed the car.

Oh my sweet lil boy. We planted flowers after we got home yesterday. Or in your words, FLOWA. You played with the water hose for an hour! Our water bill will probably be $50 but it was worth it! You were soaked! So funny! You sprayed your 4wheeler, your swing, the cat!
Then we went in and you chased me around with your Dino...RRRRRR! Never thought I'd spend an evening at home being chased by a dino, but I can't imagine anything else.

You came and got my hand and took me to MY room. Crawled in the bed and pulled the blanket up to your chin. You wanted me to lay down with you. Sweet baby. I started singing your goodnight songs and you put your little finger on my mouth and said SHHHH, SOP (stop). You then jsut rolled around in the blanket and fell asleep. My little cuddle bug. You're getting so big. I miss my little baby already.

Oh my little Goin Owen, you have definately been a wild boy this week! Every night you have done something different. You are so funny! Dad let you play with his little "miners" light. A light that you can wear on your head and it shines red or white. You think it is so fun. Yo shake your head back and forth to see it shine everywhere. You have also started showing us your "muscles"! You will tense up and make a meeeaaan face. It is HILLARIOUS! We have laughed and laughed. Another night you were a dinosaur. Running back and forth growling as loud as you could. So loud, you went hoarse!

We had a fish fry and went fishing at uncle Chris's. You loved fishing and riding your 4 wheeler. You are definately ALL BOY! What am I gonna do with you? I love you so much. I just wish I could hold you forever. There aer so many bad things and people in this world. I know God sent you to me and I have to let him hold you through out the day and be there when I can't.

Good Morning my little cuddle bug! Dad was getting ready this morning and you woke up. He immediately gets you out of bed and brings you too me. You just curled up with me and went right back to sleep. I wish I could hold you there all day!
You're new word this week...."No". I asked you if you wanted lunch yesterday, "No". Do you want to go to Holly's? "No." You're so funny. We pretty much played outside all weekend. You love it, you cry when we have to come in. You fell asleep in the swing yesterday!
We went to ToysRUs Saturday. Of course I bought too many toys for you. I used to buy myself clothes, A LOT of clothes. Now, I havent shopped for myself in I don't know when, but I can spend $50 in ToysRUs for you in about 5 minutes! I know I'm spoiling you rotten but I can't help it. I love you too much I guess.
We went to Uncle Chris's on Friday for you to run around and play with the "boos" (aka deer). His grandpa, who is 92, picked you up and took off on his hover round and took you around their lake!! Scared me too death! You loved it. Pointing out all the cars as they drove by, the birds, the boos, waiving Hi. You're getting so big, Mr. independent.

Last night you were watching a movie, like we do most everynight, and you lined up all of your animals in a row perfectly and had to be sure ALL of them were facing the TV. They are your little buddies. I think you will be a perfectionist like your mom, worries me a little. Not everything has to be "perfect" honey, it's taken me 30 years to figure that out! Take extra time to enjoy life instead of worrying if you are doing everything perfectly. I don't want you to miss out on experiences becasue you are afraid you will not be good at it or be "perfect". JUST TRY IT! Don't be like me......

We had a busy weekend. Poor Pa and Granny Key are both in the hospital. You love your Pa Key.......or his caps at least. haha. We bought your "big boy" bedding and room decor. Nothing else but, DINOS! I showed it to you in the store and you said, "RRRRRR" so I knew it was a keeper. I cant believe it's time for a toddler bed already! We got your hair cut too. Oh yeah, and there were tornadoes on Friday. I rushed to pick you up from Holly's and we made it home just in time. Scared DaDa to death though!
Such a smart boy, you are saying even more words than last week! I was counting and I think you say about 20 to 25 words now. Not bad for almost 18 months. This morning you were playing ball, reading books, watching NeNe and eating Cheerios. Busy guy today!!

Busy Week

You have been a busy little boy this week! Saying new words and trying new stunts. UH OH is a new one, NE NE (Mickey Mouse), BAA says the sheep, WOOF WOOF says the doggy. And of course, POO POO. Its nice that you come to me and let me know, but we need to potty train! You are the worst child to try to change a diaper! You do not stop movin, my lil Goin Owen. Miss Holly said that you pulled all the pillows off of the couch and started diving off the couch onto them! You did this all by yourself.....smarty pants! You did the same thing when we got home, head first! You are a little dare devil. You found a new favorite book this week too, it's just a little Disney book about finding new pals.......I have read it to you about 50 times! You bring it too me with those sweet little eyes...boo boo boo? (book) I will sit and read it 50 more times. I dont mind.

We had a great Valentine's Day yesterday! Went to dinner at nana and papa's house. You got all kinds of gifts! You are REALLY loved baby O! Lil dinos, trucks, books, a movie, candy and your favorite.......a giant monkey balloon! Best dollar I've ever spent. Papa got out his banjo and you played with him, you're pretty good! Got a little picker on our hands.

Tuesday, Feb 14th HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!
Lil O's first Valentine's Day party! It was at the library aand I had to go check you out "in action". You are definatley a social butterfly! You take after your dad. So cute in your red valentines t shirt and blue jeans, just wandering around sayin, "Hi" to everyone. I tried to sneak in but you noticed and came running with the biggest smile and hug! You may only be 17 months old, but you knew I surprised you!

Lil Owen enjoying his Thomas the Train dvd and playing in the floor. I walked off to the kitchen and the movie was over, what do I hear? "MOMMA.....MOMMA..." Sweet lil voice yelling for me. That's the first time you have ever actully called for me. I'll come running everytime!

Owen's 1st girlfriend.......

So my lil man has a lil girlfriend at the sitters. She wants to sit beside him during story hour and even tried giving him a hug today. Awwww, so sweet, until Owen karate chopped her!! Yes, he's 16 months old and his favorite movie right now is Kung Fu Panda. He has been practicing his "karate", which is nothing more than a little "hiii-ya", along with some rolling hands and a "chop". Apparently he's been putting his move on his girlfriend, they are just the wrong kind of moves! That's ok. I should be the only girl he has!
